Travel to the very rural parts of Kenya and spend three months in a land that time has forgotten.  Learn their culture, serve the children, and strengthen your walk with God. 

As an Intern:

You will live at the children's center in one of the homes for the children.  (Separate quarters are provided for interns)

You will work side-by-side with those who serve the children daily.  Your assignments will vary depending on your gifts, abilities, and what is needed. 

You will be immersed in the culture and will eat the food that they eat.

You will learn from various Christian leaders in this area of Kenya as an opportunity for you to grow spiritually.

You will have an opportunity to spend 1-3 days in solitude, with God, in a prayer cave. (optional)

You will help prepare for and serve with the short term mission team.

You will have an opportunity to see what life in the "mission field" is all about.

You will go on an overnight safari.

You will have an experience you will never forget.

Interns will be accepted for travel at two times.  Jan -March or May-Aug. 

If you have not traveled with us before, you will be required to go through our training to prepare you for this trip. 

Cost:  $2,000 + airfare

The sooner you have your airfare paid, the better rate you will receive on tickets (first ticketing in Dec/Jan)

Long Term Missionary

Are you ready to trust your life to the Lord completely for 3-6 months.  Then our long term mission plan is for you.  We are looking for those who have some life experience in missions, administration, teaching, pastoring, and/or property management.  This person must be willing to live in a very rural part of Africa with the Luo tribe.  The people in the Nyasoti community are very friendly and will welcome you whole heartedly into their community.  Once you arrive, your biggest problem will be leaving, as you will fall in love with the people and the land.  Please use the above application to apply for our long term mission experience.

Cost:  Approx $500 per month + airfare.

May I spend more than 6 months?  If you desire to return to the mission field in Nyasoti, you can reapply as often as you like.

May I take my wife/family?  Yes couples and families are welcome.

What training do you most recommend?  We will train you but the best training is to travel with one of our 2 week or 1 month trips to experience rural Kenya and the community of Nyasoti.
